Welcome to "ChessHop"! We understand the importance of personal privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your relevant information, as well as our special declarations regarding the use of specific online AI services within the App.
1. Guest Data: When you use the "Guest Mode" directly without registering, we generate an anonymous device identifier to record your level clearance data, existing Credits, and ELO rating locally on your device (Local Storage). In this mode, unless data corruption occurs, relevant game progress is only kept on this device.
2. Account and Login Information: The App supports "Sign in with Apple". When you choose "Sign in with Apple", depending on your system-level permissions, we may receive a desensitized account credential to establish a unique ID (excluding your real name and real email, unless you actively authorize Apple to transmit it). In the current version, this is mainly used to recognize the same player on the same device, and does not provide cloud saves or cross-device synchronization.
3. In-Game Behavior and Data: We will record your game win/loss count, star rating for each level, remaining Credit amount, game duration, and operation frequency. These data will only be used to: (a) maintain basic App functions; (b) optimize the game difficulty experience under AI matchmaking.
1. The App features an "In-Game AI Mentor Dialogue" function. When you trigger specific moves (such as Check, Capture, Castling, etc.) or initiate a dialogue, we will obtain the current historical state of the chessboard (SAN notation) and send it as a non-real-name structured request to the data interface provided by a trusted third-party Large Language Model (LLM) service provider for processing, in order to generate "character dialogue" lines.
2. Important Security Warning: This is not processed locally, but is a request sent to a cloud service. Although we will desensitize the chessboard instruction text transmitted (only transmitting move notations and virtual display nicknames), we still remind you: Please absolutely DO NOT attempt to input and submit any state secrets, trade secrets, your bank accounts, location, or personal privacy characteristics in any possible custom input boxes or games. Any irrelevant privacy leakage caused by the player themselves is the player's own responsibility.
1. We use security protection mechanisms that comply with industry standards (such as encrypted communication) to protect your online transmission data and on-device data handling process.
2. Except for the aforementioned LLM third-party providers, we will not sell, trade, or unjustifiably disclose your privacy information that can locate your real name and physical device to any other third party, unless facing mandatory intervention by law and law enforcement agencies.
3. All data logs are strictly kept in accordance with the storage years permitted by law, and will be cleared and irreversibly unrecoverable when the year limit is reached or when you request deletion.
1. In accordance with the privacy protection requirements of the latest App Store Review Guidelines, you have the full right to delete your account and on-device data within the App at any time; if you are using Guest Mode, you may also clear on-device data.
2. You may perform the above operation by going to the App — [Profile] — [Settings] — and using the relevant entry. Once completed, the nickname, progress, Credits, profile memory, and settings stored on the current device will be cleared and cannot be recovered. The current version does not provide cloud account data recovery.
3. If you need to consult, revoke Apple SignIn authorization, or request to exercise your right to access information, you can also contact us for resolution via the email address attached at the end of this document. We will process it within 15 working days upon receipt.
In accordance with the "APP Compliance Guidelines", we do not subjectively and intentionally collect personal information from minors under the age of 14. If a user lacks full civil capacity and an in-app purchase occurs without the protection of a legal guardian, please promptly contact us through the customer service channel for proper handling.
